This one started out its life as a 'quick and dirty' build to see if could do a fanned fingerboard, what pickups to use and if could play on it (all three worked out okay).
I didn't take that much pictures during this build, it began its life as a test project.
The neck is made out of leftovers from the Mk2 seven string. The body design is based on Leo Fender's Jazz Bass and the headstock on Leo's Musicman design, hence the tribute name (and the Man deserves a tribute!).
I rebuild it to it's current state after I found the right pickups. With this rebuild I chambered the body and put on a nice flamed Maple top.
