mk1-4 details

Some history

This one started out its life as a Hohner b2a. At that time I couldn't get used to the Steinberger body shape and decided to make it into something that was more to my liking.

I rebuild this bass twice, the first build was done somewhere in the early 90's, the second rebuild was done in 2012.

This second rebuild was done bacause I did not like the way it felt (anymore), it was to thick, to heavy and to big, it also looked its age.

I used the neck, bridge and head piece as donor parts for this current build.
